(1) If a party knowingly submits a false statement or forged evidence in order to prejudice the rights of the other party, he shall be fined Rs. 1000.- A fine of up to one thousand or imprisonment up to three months or both.

(2) If any authorized officer who is about to take action under this Act is prevented from doing the work by any obstacle or opposes to do so. If any person is abetted by the order of the designated authority, the person who opposes or abets the obstacle shall be fined Rs. 500.- A fine of up to five hundred or imprisonment of up to one month or both may be imposed.

(3) In relation to a piece of land, if any party fails to submit the details required to be submitted according to section 5 within the time limit specified in that section, the landowner and the farmer in relation to that piece of land After the rights of both of them expire, the Nepal government will take over and the Nepal government will be able to settle the land in some way.
